UHMWPE Webbing
Dyneema® Webbing is made out of ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) and is a great choice when exceptionally high strength is required. UV resistance is superior to polyester, meaning this webbing maintains its strength longer. UHMWPE webbing is chemically and physically identical to Dyneema®.
UHMWPE Webbing has superior strength without all the bulk! With 15 times the strength of steel, UHMWPE is one of the strongest fibers in the world. This webbing has excellent abrasion resistance, the ability to float in water due to low density, and high resistance to acids and alkalis. It also has a low to no stretch factor. UHMWPE is incredibly thin considering how strong it is, making it very easy to sew.
